Here’s how it works.
First, I take a picture of the tooth or teeth that need dental work and a 3-D model of your tooth is created right on the screen. CEREC software then goes to work, designing the dental crown, filling, or veneers. The final creation is sent to CEREC’s milling unit which trims a ceramic block (that matches your tooth color) into the right shape.
Each of these steps are done in a short period of time, producing a great looking restoration while you wait in the dental chair. No repeat visits!
What’s more, dental restorations made by CEREC require less drilling and fewer anesthetic injections. And, with the digital imaging feature, that means no messy impressions!
