Tooth restoration technology is always evolving, and it’s very important to me to keep up with the changes happening in the field.
Right now I am using a new piece of technology called Lava Ultimate CAD/CAM Restorative in conjunction with a type of dentistry called biomimetrics. While these names mean very little to patients, what they do make all the difference.

Lava Ultimate CAD/CAM Restorative is dynamic in that it incorporates 3M’s (its manufacturer) nanotechnology to create beautifully polished, fracture-resistant, wear-resistant, natural looking restorations.
Lava Ultimate restorations are so powerful, their durability and functionality outperforms other leading tooth restoration products on the market. They last a minimum of 10 years!
The buy levitra on sale online Lava Ultimate technology also makes tooth restoration fast. Patients can get a complete restoration in a single visit! That includes onlays, overlays, veneers, and crowns.
Biomimetics is a type of dentistry that I practice that treats weak, fractured, and decayed teeth in a way that keeps them strong and seals them from bacterial invasion. Careful sealing against infection removes the need for 60% to 90% of the crowns and root canals of traditional dentistry.
Traditional dental techniques don’t take advantage of the advanced ceramics and adhesives to correct and restore teeth. These new technologies, like the Lava Ultimate, allow me to use small onlays that work more like your own teeth than the large porcelain crowns used in traditional dentistry.

Instead of simply filling cavities just to fill gaps, biomimetic dentistry keeps the patient’s long-term dental health in focus. By sealing the tooth against infection and bonding the tooth strongly to prevent fracture, I make sure those fillings don’t make dental problems any more serious than they already are.
Curious about the dental technologies I use in my practice? Ask me about them at your next visit. I’d be happy to show you around – and, show you what can make a difference in your dental health.
