Clear Correct Vs. Invisalign: Which One’s The Winner?

There are many reasons to smile. You can look more confident, you are happier, and you end up looking more attractive. There’s no question that you can change your surroundings with a beautiful smile since you will bring good energy into a place.

Moreover, if you want to enhance the look of your smile to make it more attractive without the need of using traditional metal braces, we have a solution for you. This article will show you 2 different options and let you know which one is the best. Please continue reading.

New Methods To Enhance Your Smile

More adults recently look forward to orthodontic treatment since nowadays there are more options to straighten a crooked smile than traditional metal braces. The evolution of clear aligners may be one reason why more people are interested in getting this type of treatment. Likewise, the impact that a healthy smile can have on increasing the level of confidence that they can achieve.

Here are the 2 options that we are going to be discussing today: Clear Correct and Invisalign.

  • Invisalign: They are transparent, removable, and comfortable aligners. They gradually move your teeth to make them straight. Each set of aligners are meant to be worn for about 2 weeks. They only need to be removed to eat, drink, brush and floss. The total treatment average time is 9 – 15 months. The number of aligners during the treatment is around 18 to 30, depending on each case.
  • Clear Correct: Like the Invisalign, it is also about wearing a clear plastic aligner for a particular time. Generally, you will need to wear the aligners for at least 22 hours a day, or the straightening process will stop. It can prolong the treatment since it will take longer for the process to start again. As you switch each aligner to the next, light pressure is applied to certain teeth to gently move them to the desired position.

The Difference Between Them

Even though they are both transparent aligners designed to straighten teeth, they are not the same. There are some differences between these 2. Clear Correct has a thinner material, leading to the aligners breaking more quickly, interfering with the progress. Likewise, it uses an old plastic material.

When comparing it to Invisalign, this uses a patented thermoplastic material that makes the process of taking it on and off more comfortable when they are being worn. Additionally, this material allows the treatment to speed up and produce improved results.

The Official Winner

With that being said, we believe that Invisalign is the winner here. It is the invisible way to give you a pleasant smile without metal wires or brackets. It also has been proven that it is efficient in clinical research and within orthodontic practices.
