To All of Our Patients,
Out of an abundance of caution and concern for our patients, we decided on March 16th to suspend normal operations for the duration of this COVID-19 health emergency to reduce the spread of this virus . We will, however, have a doctor on call in our office for emergency and urgent care during this time. Please call the office line at (626) 795-0221 if you need emergency or urgent care.
Please be assured that our infection control and standard precautions, including 20 minutes of ultra-violet light sterilization in dental suites between patients, that we always employ are excellent deterrents to COVID-19 and every other viruses. In addition, we have been even more vigilant in cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and bathrooms throughout the day in our office. Hand sanitizers are readily available in all areas of our practice for your use.
We are taking temperatures of any employees and doctors in our office and all patients before they actually enter our office space. We also ask you to be safe. If you have traveled to China, Japan, South Korea, Italy, Iran or any other region affected by COVID-19, please let us know prior to coming in for an emergency appointment. If you are not feeling well, have a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, please contact your physician before calling our office. If you have tested positive to COVID-19 and had been seen in our office in the last month, please let us know.
We recognize that this is a confusing and difficult time for all of you. To all you affected by or ill with COVID-19, our hearts go out to you and we wish you and/or your loved ones a speedy recovery. To all of our healthy patients – please stay diligent in proper hand-washing, sanitizing and social distancing.
Know that we take our role as your healthcare provider very seriously and are here to help. For the very latest information and guidance, please refer to the CDC’s COVID-19 webpage, the Department of Public Health’s website or the ADA’s website.
We will keep you informed when we are fully operational again. And, we look forward to the resumption of giving you the care you have come to expect from our practice.
Stay healthy and safe!
Warm Regards,
Dr. Stender and Dr. Stein
