Why do you use a microscope in your dentistry?
Precision and prevention. The microscope allows me to see what’s going on in your mouth to a degree not possible to the naked eye or to traditional types of magnification.
A microscope allows me to find and fix defects in your teeth that will prevent the need for expensive procedures such as root canals, implants, or a bridge years down the road. Even better, the microscope is attached to a monitor so that you can actually watch what I’m doing.
I wish every dentist used one, but, unfortunately, only about 1% of us do.
